  7. Macintosh TV users may find that they cannot receive television signals
  8. from their cable system.  The solution is to get the revised TV Set Up
  9. control panel.

  15. About 30 percent of the cable systems in the United States use Harmonically
  16. Related Carrier frequency, which is different from air-transmitted
  17. television signals and from the remaining 70 percent of cable systems. HRC
  18. reduces interference when many channels are transmitted over cable.  Most
  19. television receivers that are labeled "cable-ready" are compatible with
  20. HRC.

  22. Macintosh TV, however, cannot receive an HRC signal -- because each
  23. channel's frequency is shifted down by 1.25 MHz from the standard channel
  24. frequencies recognized by Macintosh TV.

  26. Solution: A New Control Panel

  28. A revised TV Set Up control panel that allows Macintosh TV to pick up the
  29. HRC frequency will be available starting November 30, 1993. Here's where to

  44. screen to darken after returning from TV mode.
